if i was president of the United States i would consider using nuclear energy. One it would cost a lot less than what we have now, with buying fossil fuels that are expensive and keep getting higher in price. Also nuclear energy is more reliable and you can count on it more than coal and other resources. I would also go with nuclear energy because i would want to try something new and if it failed then i would go back to fossil fuels as energy, but it never hurts to try something new once in a while.
I also agree with Ashley because she is right about fossil fuels becoming expensive. Fossil fuels are also very harmful to our environment and Nuclear Energy is not and can produce 24/7 reliable energy.
If i was the President i would continue using nuclear energy but i would als o keep trying to find other forms of alternative energy. Fossil fuels cost a extreme amount of money and if we put more money into finding alternative energy we will save much more money in the long one, find more alternative energy that is more enviromental safe. It would keep us safe and and our world less polluted from harmful things like nuclear energy.
